Retired couple with dog needs housing asap

We just sold our home in Eagle, Idaho and are looking rent a home/apartment in Kitsap County. We are looking for a home or apartment to rent until we can find a home to buy or build, so we don't want to lock into a lease over 3 months or so. Ideally, month to month. Furnished is ok as we can keep ours in storage. I am a retired general building contractor and my wife is a retired school administrator. We have one dog who goes everywhere we go, and we do not leave her home alone. We would prefer to keep the rent under $2k a month but will go more for the right place. We can rent now as our home closes on October 29th and we don't have an exit plan.We have excellent credit and referral.Thanks, ~DBB
