Description

*ONE YEAR OLD PUPPY VERY STRESSED WILL BE KILLED SOON* I WILL DIE UNLESS A FOSTER IS FOUND BY Oct. 18th!!. Pledges needed for Rescue (I must be "pulled" by a rescue to get out of shelter alive). Read about me and call if you can Foster me Hi, I'm Sosa (Only 1 years old!! dog compatibility unknown) My story is sad and NOT fair! I was adopted and returned in one day. The person who adopted me did NOT give me time to decompress. I got mouthy and she "said" I bit. Yet upon surrendering me back to the shelter the "unaware and very young adopter" had no broken skin nor any sign of bite!. Complete exaggeration! Not to mention the adopter wanted the dog to be a "guard dog"!! Again....Not a good home or fit!!. "Mouthiness" occurs when we are stressed and do not have any other way to release this emotion. It’s obvious I was adopted into a bad home, and I certainly shouldn't lose my life over this! Being locked in a concrete kennel all day is so hard for me to deal with and since my return I have been locked in my kennel now for 10 days WITH NO WALK (shelter rules)!. Who can Foster me so I do not have to die in this shelter? Read more positive notes below. I am a Volunteer fav!! I am a 1-year-old, neutered, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier (50 lbs.) and my puppy fur is still so soft! I am much cuter in person! Shelter notes say: I am friendly, rambunctious, and energetic, and I want attention. I lean in for petting, love doing "zoomies", and enjoy playing with toys and splashing in a kiddie pool. I will “sit” for treats, and I’m learning to “sit” for a ball to be thrown. I need to work on walking on a leash without pulling and getting attention without jumping and mouthing. Recently, I have been able to stop these behaviors when given verbal correction and treats. This is a good indication that I should do well with positive training. I need an adopter that understands what a puppy needs and will provide in-home training and socialization. Per shelter and previous owner notes, there should be no children or small animals in the home. The shelter is full, and no extensions! I will be put down 10/18! I just can't imagine this is how it could end for me only because I was in a bad home..... Please come meet me before it is too late! Love, Sosa Please call (Dog Saver hotline) or message us. To Save my Life I need: 1. A Rescue 2. A Foster/Adopter 3. Pledges for a Rescue. Dog Savers have facilitated getting out over 400 E-listed dogs in the since inception. A portion of the donations go to the our costs. Lets keep working together to save these dogs lives!! My ID is #A4619818...you'll need that if you want to save me. I am in Phoenix, AZ.
