The rules on craigslist are clear that breeding and selling animals on CL is not permitted. However, rehoming an animal with a "small adoption fee is OK. " There are a few breeders that break the rules here and that has brought malicious, uneducated, trolling flaggots with nothing better to do than to set themselves up as moderators to not only flag those that break the rules and sell various animal breeds, but they also have been flagging the posts that legitimately rehome animals with small adoption fees. If you're a breeder, selling (Boxers, German Shepherds, pugs,, Bengals, Persians, Lynx, etc) for hundreds of dollars (or more) please go where you are legally allowed to do that. It's against the rules here. If you're flagging legitimate posts for rehoming animals that are not bred and sold for large amounts of money, please stop. You might be someone that thinks you're doing a service, but you're really not. You're endangering animals that need homes! Those animals that aren't bred for thousands of dollars might end up being thrown in a river, set out to freeze in the winter or sold off do dog fighters, or worse. Please, if you feel you must flag posts, don't flag every animal post, as Craigslist allows pets to be rehomed for a small adoption fee. I see ads that pop up where it's obvious that they're not profiting from the small adoption fee and they're flagged, falsely. It's sad, but only you can make a difference here, since CL relies solely upon the community to keep CL going. Don't be a turd in the septic tank. Be productive not destructive. Thank you
