We are hiring a labor crew of people to help set up a large installation of vases and flowers near the Memorial Coliseum as part of a memorial project on Monday, October 18th. The start time is at 9 a.m. sharp and the total time of the gig is expected to be approximately 3 hours. This is a one-day job outdoors and we are looking for people who can be on time and are physically able to bend over and install plastic vases into the ground and bunches of flowers into the vases many times - we have a lot of them! - if you are not able to do that, please do not apply for this job. The pay is $22.50/hour, paid via Venmo/Zelle/PayPal/Cash App at the conclusion of the shift -- you must have one of these apps to get paid. We usually complete the job between 3 to 4 hours, so we GUARANTEE you'll be paid at least for three hours, and it's LIKELY that there'd be a fourth hour too, just unsure at this point. There is also a $10 bonus simply for showing up on time, too, so everyone will make AT LEAST $77.50. And if we go longer than 3 hours, you'll continue to be paid at $22.50/hour, on a pro-rated basis (so if we go 3.5 hours, you'll make $77.50 etc.) We also will be removing the installation on Friday afternoon, October 22nd and folks who work on Monday will have first priority for that job. Unfortunately we are able to provide free parking so we recommend using mass transit.
