Middle-aged musician seeks others to create fun, moody, dark, music project based around cinematic themes, psychedelic go-go/fuzz and tasteful noise; swamp blues, and 50s-70s Americana, in general. Influences and/or take off points include: Nick Cave, No Wave, Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, John Barry, Charles Mingus, Serge Gainsbourg, Vince Taylor, Neal Hefti, Henry Mancini, Lalo Schiffren, Tom Waits, late-stage Elvis, etc. I play guitar and keys. Looking for drums, bass, guitar, keys, sax -- but actual lineup will depend on whoever shows up; the object being fun, creative jam sessions leading to playing out, sooner rather than later.
