Learn more about the historic Castle Falls and Council Grove in West Oklahoma City.
WesTen hosts a historically local tour of Castle Falls that includes a history of the many salvaged items from downtown Oklahoma City in the early 1900s, the Czechoslovakian family who built the castle and an overview of Council Grove area (part of the Unassigned Land during the Land Run).
The tour is the third Saturday of each month. There is NO charge but registration is requested.
Just west of the city, the original castle is now Castle Falls Restaurant with an accompanying Grande Hall.
Social distancing is observed.
Historic Castle Falls Restaurant and Special Events Venue is conveniently located near the heart of the city on 5 acres one mile north of Interestate 40 & MacArthur. The restaurant is opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings by reservation. Chef's Wine Dinners are the last Wednesday (except this month because of Halloween) of the month March through October. Prime Rib Thursday is the 2nd Thursday of every month (except December). The Grande Hall Events Venue opens any time with prearrangement.
