A step-by-step instructional workshop designed to help herbalism beginners learn to create numerous different medicines out of herbs. Have you ever wanted to try making your very own herbal remedies at home but didn't know where to begin? Welcome! You came to the right place. Whether you are having skin issues, digestive issues, troubles with sleep, or even a bee sting...herbs can help! The list of what kind of ailments herbs have been historically used to treat is seemingly endless. However, there are a handful of commonly used methods of transforming these plants into medicinal concoctions. We will look at some of these methods in an in-depth and hands on way. We will discuss when to use specific types of herbal medicine, how to make these medicines from scratch, and explore some herbs that are helpful to know about when treating conditions that are fairly common in today's world. This class is open to all levels of herbalism expertise. Please bring all of your curiosities and an enthusiasm for learning about the plants and all of their wonders! This event will be mostly floor seated.
