Enjoy a guided tour of historic South Main and hear ghostly stories of past inhabitants who still linger on. Discover some of Middletown’s secrets and stories while walking several blocks down South Main in buildings previously hosting some of the city’s most infamous residents. The storied past of some of our area’s most beautiful mansions will be shared during this lantern lit walking tour. Your tour guides will start off the night with a behind the scenes look at the incredible Windamere, a favorite place for paranormal investigators. It is here you will be treated with a complimentary “spirited” drink to warm you up for the walk. Remember to wear comfortable shoes as well as warm clothing as this is primarily an outdoor walking tour. Real-life encounters by current residents, historical facts and old folklore will all combine into an entertaining look at these history-rich and beautiful buildings. So beautiful in fact…many feel that previous residents, long deceased, may still be there.... Due to the spooky content, we recommend attendees be 18+. Must be 21+ to get spirited drink, please bring ID. Join us.....if you dare! Each group is limited to 20 guests. Rain or shine! A portion of the proceeds benefit the Kara Goheen Friends and Furball Foundation. The Windamere Event Venue hosts a variety of events from corporate trainings to weddings, birthdays, and charity events.
