Looking for: A versatile person who can help in the office, on job sites with my current Service Business of 235 customers and to help with personal errands to free up my time. And to assist with the starting of a new online Solar Power Business (yes, I stay busy and need some help). Update: As the past few days have gone by, I have been thinking of how to handle my current business of many years and to start this new business with the goal of making it go faster and better. I often try to think “outside the box” as I am not content running the “hamster wheel”, and so decided to modify this ad. This being said I am no longer content with the assistant situations I have had in the past who have left (lastest one still works five hours a week till I find someone else, previous one decided she didn’t want to work anymore (I still visit and eat dinner with her and husband as we are good friends) and prior to that was a girlfriend who also worked with me in my business (until her relatives got her on drugs, she turned into a person I did not know and left). Yes I know, life is crazy. I believe of all those mentioned covering about the past dozen years, I liked the live in girl friend who lived with me and worked with me as a team. I would like a live in Companion (long term relationship) of who would be my work partner. We would share the benefits and our vacation times would always be the same (not one week a year that your company decides when you get to take). All your living expenses will be covered and then some. No room for children due to size of house (we will be building together a new larger house in about two years). I know that is a lot for some to comprehend, and probably not doable for others, I understand. But there has got to be someone out there who would like to feel productive working toward common goals, live on 21 acres in the mountains of south Johnson City (yet 10 minutes from town), and enjoy a new companion who cares. I know this job post is probably unusual, but hey, this is Craig’s List. If you made it through the first paragraph, here is a few more points that might interest you. - We will “soft peddle” the current business to pay the bills, and start the new Solar Power business as quickly as possible (I am working on web site now). Once it’s up and running, I will sell the current business and we will have more time and money to travel and such. - Most everyday will be different; this is not your typical job. You will not get bored. - Some days will be on the road and some days will be spent working in the office on various tasks. - I recently decided to switch my home to Solar Power (yes, the home on 21 acres, creek just outside the window, 2 miles of hiking trails, occasional wildlife, off the road and private). I have always had an interest in Solar Power and was so impressed with the equipment and all that I decided to start my own business. I have some unique ideas, was able to find wholesale pricing directly with manufacturers and will be filling a niche market with the products we make. - Oh….., I guess you might want to know a few things about me. I am a middle age white male, very physically fit, train three times per week in Martial Arts, walk 2 - 3 miles daily with my doggie (for both of our benefits), live & eat healthy, easy to get along with, have great patients (so I am told), very respectful and honest, do not smoke or take drugs and have goals. I am affectionate and desire the same. I am big into Prepping as I feel we may be in for some “hard times” in the future. Being prepped for about anything is my insurance policy that we will be protected in the future concerning this crazy world we live in. I am a Christian and Conservative. Love most kinds of music. - Looking for a person who likes outdoor activities of many kinds, likes travel (local, national and international), yet likes to relax at night with Netflix to unwind from the day. While I greatly respect and like any person of size, shape, color, etc.; I think most of us have an attraction toward a certain look. For me that is a WOMEN who is smaller than me (I am 150 lbs, 5’ 9”). Summary: I know the above has been long, but I wanted you to have the info needed to consider if this job (and now relationship) is right for you or not as I understand it is not your “typical job”. There has got to be someone who would like to learn many new things, enjoy a varied schedule of work duties and would enjoy the challenge of pursuing a defined set of goals and seeing tangible results occur verses doing the “same thing day in and day out”. Everything is moving at a snail’s pace and I would like to see faster progress and share the fun with someone else. I have found in the past that there is a synergy and efficiency that occurs when two people work as a team, a lot can be accomplished quickly as well as experience a shared feeling of accomplishment.
