Looking to hire a foreman to run a crew of 4-5. We mostly do decks and framing. If you have experience in either please apply. You do not have to have been a foreman to apply for this job, but you must meet the requirement's below. We are hiring right away so if this is something you are interested in please reach out. We work within the treasure valley. Pay will depend on experience. Prior leadership roles are a bonus. The ideal candidate will need to possess the following attributes (these are non negotiable). * In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, hardware requirements etc. * Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints * Determine wall heights, headers, stud heights etc from a set of plans * Ability to create cut lists, wall packs etc. to pass along to crew for execution * Develop weekly and daily schedules to ensure we are staying on task * Keeping ahead of inventory to ensure no delays in progress * Identify problems and potential set backs or inconsistencies with plans before it turns into a real-world problem * Excellent organizational and leadership skills * Ability to communicate and report effectively daily * Frequent communication with superintendents and project managers to ensure all materials are in inventory, ordered or on schedule to arrive within our assignment timelines * Assertive personality * Aptitude in math * Problem-solving abilities * Good physical condition and stamina * Experience in framing (At least two years) Summary of responsibilities: * Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans * Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew * Allocate general and daily responsibilities * Supervise and train workers and tradespeople * Ensure manpower and resources are adequate * Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met * Supervise the use of machinery and equipment * Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget * Resolve problems when they arise * Report on progress to superintendent or CEO
