During the last week of October, newly certified reiki practitioners are offering discounted private sessions in downtown Salida. Whether you are a reiki first timer and curious about energy healing or have experienced Reiki before, this is a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxing session at a discounted rate while supporting new local practitioners. All sessions include private studio space in the professional healing arts center, The Mandala Collective. Meet Your Practitioners Kayla Doan Hey there, I’m Kayla! I’m a creative, business minded go-getter with expertise in unlocking potential. Professionally, I’ve managed an innovation program at a publicly traded tech company and podcast on personal growth. Reiki energy healing has connected me more strongly to my own intuition, which in turn, has allowed me to step more fully into my life’s passions. As a Reiki practitioner, I find joy in helping others learn new things about themselves. Maybe it’s an energy block within the body that needs attention or hidden potential that can be gently brought to consciousness. My name is Mary Jane, I am a vibrant, earth loving healer & community builder. The practice of energy healing intuitively flows through me. In my early 20’s I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, this diagnosis led me to wholeheartedly dive into holistic health to gain my life back. I explored multiple modalities & fell in love with the energy of Reiki, Kundalini Yoga & the plant-based community. As a Reiki Practitioner, I infuse my sessions with love & healing vibrations, stemming from deep within my heart. In a session, you will feel loved, supported & nourished, allowing energetic pathways to open & release what does not serve your highest self. I'm a Colorado native and currently reside in Bailey. I love living in the mountains and being surrounded by nature. A passion of mine is hiking and I use it as a means to get away from the chaos of life as we know it. I also enjoy traveling and have had the extreme fortune of hiking through parts of Spain, Africa, Ecuador and mainland US. I found Reiki (or really it found me) through a recent career change. While working as a math teacher for the past 16 years, I felt a constant pull toward healing. As a former medical assistant prior to teaching, I had experience with illnesses and working with patients. Thankfully, because of Reiki, I am now a student at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism. I absolutely love learning about plants and nature's ways of healing. My ambition is to open an apothecary in Bailey where I can offer healing through herbs and Reiki. I am continually amazed by the ways the Universe offers itself to us!
