St. Luke Community UMC hosts MEGA SATURDAY, with 3 free activities: food distribution, COVID vaccinations, and COVID testing. At St. Luke's MEGA SATURDAY event, take advantage of a variety of FREE services: fresh fruit/veggies distributionfresh milk distribution COVID-19 vaccinationsCOVID-19 testingDATE: Saturday, October 30, 2021 TIME: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Central Daylight Time) LOCATION: St. Luke "Community" UMC, 5710 East R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75223 DETAILS Any family may receive two gallons of milk and a crate of fresh fruit/veggies. Each produce box feeds 5 people for one week. Register before 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 29. NOTE: PRE-REGISTRATION IS NOT A GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE FOOD because it is distributed first-come-first-served, and supplies are limited. We thank Harvest Project Food Rescue and Oak Farms Dairy for their generous support and partnership. Project Unity's Community BOOster event offers these vaccine types: Pfizer: first-dose, second-dose, and booster. The first-and second-dose vaccines are for people 12 years and older. The booster shots are for eligible people ages 65 years and older. To receive the booster shot, you must provide your vaccine card as proof that you received the original doses.Johnson & Johnson: This one-dose vaccine is for people 18 years and older.Pre-registration is required: Schedule your appointment and get full details at projectunity.net/together-we-vaccinate. We sincerely appreciate Project Unity and Catalyst Health Network for their invaluable dedication to protecting our communities. No pre-registration required for COVID-19 testing. Drive or walk-up, provide valid ID, and register on-site. Test results will be available in 48-72 hours. Anyone younger than 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
