ISO small, older dog

My husband and I are looking to adopt another small, older dog. We had to say goodbye to our old beagle last month and our remaining dog has been lonely. We are in a pet friendly apartment with a small community dog park. I walk our current dog three times a day and someone is home every day for the pets. Our new dog needs to be a small breed or mix under 25 lbs and that can handle apartment life. We are a child-free family and have no cats but we do have some small caged pets. Our rabbits and other dog are all spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. I can pay a reasonable rehoming fee.
