Rock Band Seeking Drummer

We are a somewhat eclectic rock band seeking a drummer. We are keyboards, two guitars and bass. We all sing. We are all buddies and get along well together with fun and humor, yet serious commitment to the music we play. We do a wide variety of classic rock, blues, funk, R&B covers with a few originals thrown in, not much at all in the way of metal, hip hop or "modern" country. We try to pick material that other local cover bands don't do, but fan favorites are inevitably part of the mix inasmuch as we are fans too! We are all older, semi retired, but we like to think we are serious and experienced players. Tight instrumental and vocal arrangements are what we strive for. Age and gender are not important (age to legally play in bars, of course, is required.). We have a fully equipped rehearsal studio including a not fancy, but functional drum kit. We all have professional quality equipment. What we want in a drummer: A player with taste, solid meter and professional technique. Read music? That's wonderful but not a requirement. Being able to count measures and beats and knowing where "Beat 1" is at all times, is. A player who is dependable and committed, does his/her homework and comes promptly, and prepared, to weekly, usually four hour, rehearsals. A player who can give, and receive, constructive critique and direction without ego issues. We are all vaccinated and require the same from all members. We do not discuss politics or religion, yet stress that all band decisions, policies and repertoire are arrived at, shall we say, Democratically. We have lines on gigs and a pretty good thing going. We just need a real, and solid, drummer to complete the package. Please respond if interested. Thanks.
