Looking for a FREE, fun, safe community event? Start your Halloween celebrations a day early at our Trick-Or-Treat Drive Thru! Welcome to South Placer Rotary's 2nd annual Trick-or-Treat Drive Thru.Oct 30, 7:00pm - 9:00 pmRC Willy/Sportman's Warehouse Parking lotLast year was so much fun South Placer Rotary, the City of Rocklin, and Walden Swim School had to bring you another one! With the support of the City of Rocklin and Walden Swim School and working with local businesses and high schools, we create a drive thru lined with volunteers and sponsors, waiting for any child lucky enough to thru with one of our candy bags. Rotary is an organization all about building community connections and making the world a better place. We believe we are creating an event giving our community a chance to have fun, smile, laugh and celebrate together with our children. Come help us continue to build on the connections in our wonderful communities while putting a smile a whole bunch of kids' faces. RC Willey and Sportsman's Warehouse are again allowing us the use of their parking lot to set up our treat drive-thru. We will attach our provided treat bags, open and ready, to your windows. Volunteer treat distributers and local businesses sponsoring our event pass out candy and treats into the bags and Halloween spirit and smiles into the windows. Tickets are FREE for all children. Any donation is welcome. We have defined safety guidelines for our volunteers and our business sponsors. Here is the list for our family participants: 1.Everyone must stay in their vehicle at all times except for emergencies. 2.Max speed limit of 5 mph through the drive-thru area with headlights on. 3.No intoxicating substances of any kind. 4.No reaching for candy/treats. All items will be placed in bags. 5.Please follow the directions of signs and volunteers with flashlights directing traffic. 6. No bags from home. We will provide bags. 7. South Placer Rotary Club, The City of Rocklin, Wallen Swim School, all event sponsors, volunteers, and property owners are not responsible for the presence of any allergens or choking hazards in candy bags. Be sure to check your child’s bag if you have any concerns. Rotary affects your city, community and the world around you more than you probably realize. Our motto is "Service Above Self" and each year we strive to to meet that call. The South Placer Rotary Club has worked with the Rocklin school district and the City of Rocklin to support our schools, students, parks, little libraries, and community events. We also participate in regional and international projects that have impacts the world over. Including helping to eliminate polio in all but 3 countries in the world. As you look around in your community and you spot the Rotary gear, know it is the stamp of people working hard to make the world a better place.
