Concerts & Recitals featuring Faculty, Students, & Guest Artists Join us for URI Brass Day featuring members of the URI Music Department's brass faculty including instrument-specific masterclasses and an opportunity to play alongside the faculty in the brass choir for the concert. 12:00-1 trumpet masterclass 1:00-2:00 check in for participants (trumpets break) 1:00-2:00 Shires instruments available to demo 2:00-3:00 pm individual instrument warm up/class with respective instruments (all but trumpet) 3:00-4:00 Shires instruments available to demo 4:00-5:30 pm brass choir rehearsal 5:30-6:30 pm jazz improv class with jazz professors 6:30-7:00 break 7:00 pm concert All visitors to the University of Rhode Island are required to wear a mask while in any of our buildings.
