Why care for these pesky insects and animals? What are they good for? These same questions account for 1 billion pounds of pesticides used in the United States per year. We (homo sapiens) are not considering the benefits these pesky creatures have for the survival of homo sapiens.. These pollinators are crucial to reducing carbons and they are the very source of our food supply. The Cross Pollination Corridor Project is a conservation that is dedicated to educating others why we need these pesky pollinators. The Monarch Butterfly, Bumblebees, Honey bees, Hummingbird are at an all time population decline. Unless perceptions are altered regarding these creatures, theirs and our habitat continue to be threatened. The Cross Pollination Corridor is having it’s long awaited groundbreaking ceremony for the building of the Pollinator’s Education Center. The Pollinator’s Education is the first structure to be built in the corridor dedicated to education and research to increase the pollinators population and to help reinstate our ecosystem. Let’s face it, without a place to live on all of the other societal issues,i.e. social, political, economical, are inconsequential. We will love to see you at the groundbreaking ceremony: Location: Cross Pollination Corridor 14944 Chatham, Detroit MI 48223 Date: October 23rd, 2021 Time: 10:00am Because of the increase in material cost, please support our fundraising effort to meet our goal of $50,000.
