Come learn the latest craze of Pour Painting! Pour Painting is a fascinating fluid art form that is used to create abstract paintings. The many different Pour Painting techniques range from simple to challenging but always a creative and experimental process. Each technique creates a one of a kind original where no two paintings are ever the same. In this class you will learn:- everyone can be a Pour Painting artist, no matter your level of experience - a different technique is taught at each class - the importance of correctly preparing the canvas - about Pouring Mediums and different recipes for different techniques - how to mix different paint consistencies - how Silicone and other additives can be used to activate "cells" - how Pour Paintings can create a unique background for further embellishments - let go of your exceptions and to just go with the flow! TICKET INCLUDES:All supplies are provided, including aprons and gloves to protect your hands and clothing. However, please don't wear your favorite clothing as there is always a potential for paint mishaps. Upon availability, there is usually Free beer, coffee and Kombucha! Please contact The Centre to inquire prior to event or feel free to bring your own. If you want to drink and/or self medicate during this private event you are welcome to bring enhancements. Must present a valid FL Medical Marijuana ID to incorporate THC in class. Not a card holder? Therefore, transporting may be a concern. The risk of altering the composition is high if you decide to take it with you. It is recommended to leave your masterpiece a day or two till it has a chance to dry. However, you may elect to take it with you. It is recommended that you bring a storage tub container large enough for the canvas to keep it in during your commute but be sure to keep it as level as possible.
