My cat was adopted please help me find him

Looking for my cat. I lost him a year ago this month and just recently remembered he was chipped when he was younger. When I called the shelter they said he was adopted out December of last year/ January this year. His name was dutches but he might be called duke now. Willing to bring him home at any cost if anyone has any info or connection to the family that adopted him. This cat was my life and still is. He was missing for two months when the shelter picked him up and I was checking constantly and I’m devastated I missed him. It was hard for me to accept he was gone and I spent the first month almost 24/7 on the site to the point where it was unhealthy. Please help me find my cat.
