Rats for Rehoming

My roommate and I are looking to re-home some of our rats. We have 10 total, but my roommate will probably keep 2. There are boys and girls (in separate cages) but I would prefer to give only rats of the same sex to any one home to avoid breeding. Our rats were part of an accidental litter (pet store told us the mother was a boy, lol.) They're all around a year old now. The fully grown boys are actually very easy to distinguish from the girls, so you will not have this issue, lol. They're all very friendly, they're cuddly and used to having the company of other rats, so if you are only bringing one rat home, please make sure you have the time to socialize with your new friend daily, because rats are very social and will get lonely. We have all white and black and white rats. And we do require a $5 rehoming fee per rat per Craigslist rules and for the safety of the animals. Please do not purchase these rats for feeder rats, they have been pets their whole lives. There are plenty of rats available at the pet store for feeder rats, these ones are pets. We want them to go to a good home where they will be able to receive better love and care than we can afford them, with how many we have. Please have a cage ready at home, as given how many there are, I cannot provide a full enclosure for each of them. I will be sending them to their new homes in cardboard boxes, not unlike a pet store, so they must have an enclosure set up and ready to go at home. Thank you!
