Glendora After Stroke Center is seeking a new Director to lead a small nonprofit that provides a program for stroke survivors and their caregivers. The group meets every Wednesday from 8 am to noon. The Director’s position is a part time professional level job. The Director is responsible for planning and implementing the events for each meeting and overseeing the paid staff and volunteers. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate and communicate with a population that often has language barriers associated with strokes. A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as gerontology, education, social work or psychology, etc. is preferred. Equivalent and relative experience may be substituted for education upon the After Stroke Center's Board of Directors’ approval. Please contact GASC at [email protected]
