Hello, I have to re-home my cute, and spunky sister chinchillas. They just turned a year old in April. They are inquisitive and curious, love to be let out, love oats, love dust baths and are overall super fun. They don't prefer to be grabbed out of their cage, and can get irritable if you try and grab them, but they have never bitten. One of them likes to nibble though... On anything! They will step onto the hands if patient enough but they will eat oats right out of your hand! Once handled, they will hold still and will let you hold them for a while without moving. If let out it can be tricky to catch them, but they will usually go back into their cage when ready, especially if they smell a treat or if their fresh dust is placed in the cage. They need to be closed in a room w their cage if let out, otherwise will get carried away and explore and explore... Haha. They are like any typical chinchilla. I love these babies, I have to re-home due to space issues, my family is growing but unfortunately the house isn't growing with us. I'm also way to busy to give them the time they deserve. I prefer re-homing them to someone with experience with chinchilla or exotic pets. They are not for the beginner. I had plans on adding wooden platforms to their cage but haven't gotten around to it, so they will come with wood for that if anyone wants a project. They could also use a couple other upgrades, a new wheel perhaps and more toys. It's a lot of fun setting up the perfect enclosure for chinchillas. They will come w a ferret nation cage (not sure what model), Hay, dust, dustbath, wheel, stone tile, fleece blankets( I just tuck them over their trays), glass water bottle, and a couple other things. They also go potty in their litter box (which I will include -it's just a class pan w pine shavings in it) I am asking $ 350 for everything Also a truck would be needed to transport the cage! 517 414 01three 9 Text perfered
