Job Description As a Packages Handler, you will have a critical role in processing packages through our facility. This is include, but not limited, scanning inbound&outbound packages, sorting packages, repacking boxes, moving packages within our facility. Your role is critical in providing our customers with the best service we can offer.. You can expect the work to be very physically demanding with an extremely high focus on your safety and the safety of others. You will be moving and lifting heavy packages. The flow of packages is very fast-paced, and productivity expectations are high. Qualifications: • able to work under supervisor as part of team • healthy and strong, able to lift and move boxes, sometime up to 80lbs • able to remember and follow instructions very well • willing to learn new skills • organized person and work efficiently • must have dependable transportation Duties and Responsibilities • Receiving packages from different courier and private party • Scan and save tracking numbers into database • Inspect packages condition, take pictures and save it into database • Consolidate and repack items • Moving boxes from one location to another • Preparing packages for outbound shipments • Maintain healthy and happy work environment • Able to work in fast-paced while maintaining work quality • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Ensures freight quality and integrity. • Performs additional duties as assigned Paid holidays are as follow: • New Year’s Day (January 1) • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (3rd Monday in January) • Independence Day (July 4) • Labor Day (1st Monday in September) • Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November) • Christmas Day (December 25) Location: 17507 S Dupont Hwy Dock 8, Harrington, DE Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (lunch time 12pm-1pm) Overtime available Paid twice a month Probation period: 1 month Probation wage: $14/hr Click Reply to this post, and email to setup interview.
