Multi-instrumentalist looking to collaborate

Description

Hi there! I play acoustic guitar, banjo, electronic instruments (analog synth, some modular synth, a sampler), a little bit of bass (though mine is in a state of disrepair which is a bummer), and also mess around a bit with field recordings. I play alone a lot, and that's fun and all, but I really am itching to collaborate with musically explorative and open-minded people. I've got dozens of little demos on my computer which I'd be happy to share with you (made as recently as last night lol). But to give a little taste of where my head is at musically, here's a little thing I uploaded last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdoNKuBXuuw&t=57s I also write songs with vocals, and sometimes process the vocals a bit with delay/reverb. My sound tends towards folk, space rock, electronic, drone, noise, ambient. I really connect with music that feels organic yet otherworldly. Influenced by a bunch of artists, so it feels weird to only name a few, but to name a few: Spacemen 3, Tenniscoats, Animal Collective, folk singer songwriters (Bridget St. John, Neil Young, Bonnie Prince Billy, Elephant Micah etc.), Stereolab, Thee Oh Sees (early freak folk stuff up to their current heavy psych), American primitive guitarists and neo-folk projects (John Fahey, Nathan Bowles, Bill Mackay), glitch/electronic musicians (The Books, Shuta Hasanuma, Takagi Masakatsu), shoegaze groups (Mojave 3, Pia Fraus), dub artists (both old school like Lee Scratch Perry and newer dub/house/minimal techno like Vladislav Delay or Thomas Fleischman), yada yada... the list goes on I'm looking to let a collaborative sound unfold and develop. Hoping to find folks who can get down with many approaches to music (lyrical, minimal, maximal, free improv, composed) and with whom we could find a shared language. Instrumentation can be anything! Vocals, percussion, guitar, bass, kitchen utensils, melodica, mandolin. I'm definitely not an expert musician, so I don't expect you to be! Just looking to have fun and explore sounds. If you have some songs and think I'd be a good fit in your sound, that's dope! If you're interested in picking up what I'm putting down, tell me a little about yourself and your music! Feel free to send any samples or past projects you've worked on if you have anything. Also, if it's helpful to know, I am a 24 year old man. I'm fully vaccinated. We could play anywhere! If we are just trying to mess around acoustically I could bring my banjo and guitar anywhere outside on a nice day, or I have my electronics set up in my house and we could wear masks. If we go with the indoors option it'd be rad to know you're vaccinated too. peace and love
