Arctic Valley Ski Area is seeking tube park staff to work Thursday-Sunday through mid-April. Shifts are afternoons and evenings, 8 hours Thursday-Friday, and 10 hours Saturday-Sunday. This is 36 hours/week, including 4 hours of overtime, with 3 days off! This is a fun outdoor job, with lots of interaction with the public, lots of routine, and opportunities for ski or snowboard ride breaks throughout the day. Pay is $14/hour, plus free hot drinks, and free lunch. Our season is scheduled to start November 27th, with training the week prior, and opportunities to join our snowmaking crew before then. Applicants must have their own outdoor, winter clothing (a company jacket is provided). Duties will include loading and unloading the tube park lift, monitoring tube park and guest safety, shoveling, assisting with maintenance, answering inquiries, and other duties as assigned. Long periods of time outside are required. A high level of responsibility and reliability are required. A background check will be performed on all applicants.
