3 year old male dog needs a home ASAP. We took him in before we moved here and he was doing well, but he is intact and loves to run away and roam the neighborhood and there are too many cars around here. He really needs a yard and preferably some woods to run around in. He is in love with my ten year old, follows her around and sleeps on her feet every night. He does have major separation anxiety, he will chew things up and has even broken a window and jumped out it while home alone so he will do best with someone who works from home, is retired or can take him along, and he’ll probably be happier with a kid to protect. He can be fearful and nervous around new people, he barks a lot and acts tough but has never bitten or snapped at anyone. Obviously he will have to like you for you to take him home. There is a rehoming fee to deter flippers, and since he is intact preference will go to anyone who can make a neuter appointment before picking him up. He eats grain free, any cheap food will have him throwing up all over your house so you have to be able to afford the good stuff. Likes to try to play with cats but won’t hurt them, ours put him in his place quickly and he doesn’t bother her anymore. Has never lived with other dogs but seems to get along with the ones he meets.
