Established demolition and environmental contractor seeking a motivated Demolition Project Superintendent capable of managing up to 8 personnel on projects ranging from 1 week to 6 months. Candidates should have general construction experience and knowledge, strong leadership skills, and be able to learn and use technology to manage and track day to day activities. The successful candidate will undergo a 30 – 90 day hands on training period depending on experience. In order to gain entry to our worksites candidates must pass E-Verify, comply with federal, state and contract COVID 19 requirements, and be able to pass a criminal background check. New hires must be willing to join Laborers Local Union 737. Local 737 offers great wages, training, insurance and pension. Requirements: • Must be willing to get Real ID, or provide passport, for entry to Federal worksites. • Must be reliable. • Must be able to work safely and utilize all required PPE. • Must be able to read blue prints and specifications. • Must be able to pass respirator physical and physically work in indoor and outdoor environments. • Must be willing and able to contribute to production when managing small crews. • Must participate in Drug Free Workplace Program. • Must be able to utilize iphone/ipad with cloud based apps to manage project documentation, safety, communications and payroll. • Must have basic writing skills and be able to communicate in English. • Forklift and/or man lift certifications are a plus. • Willing to take Asbestos Abatement Certification classes is a plus.
