#AdoptSweetLoveable #NalaKitty Someone I know is leaving Maui Nov 2 and must rehome their sweet beautiful cat. See below: ---- I’m Looking for a New Home. Her name is Nala. I need to move back to the mainland unexpectedly and sadly cannot take her with. She is about 5 years old and very loveable. Spayed with shots good until April. She only scratches her two cardboard blocks. She likes to sleep just about anywhere from high up to the floor, on, or in, a grocery bag (no handles). Also likes to sit at a screened in window to sniff, look, and listen. She eats quality dry cat food left out for her all the time and enjoys a few spoons of canned cat food morning and evening. She especially loves Fancy Feast and Fussie Cat flaked tuna or salmon varieties. She loves having her back rubbed and will let you know it by turning her back to you and expecting you to know that it is time for a scratch. I brace my thumb against the base of her tail and rub her with my fingers. If you don’t respond immediately, she will turn around, reach out, and pat your arm before turning around again for the scratch…. I keep stuffed toys in a back with catnip and then toss them to her. She also loves to play with a feather bird on a stick. She may be scared and hide for a few days, at first, but will come out. When I first got her, I could not find her for two days and she did not eat or use the litter box (or anywhere). I discovered her in the back corner on top of the refrigerator. She can also open, and sleep, in cabinets that are not latched. I need to find her a home by the end of October.
