Description

The Treasure Coast Youth Symphony performs its fall 2021 concert, LANDSCAPES, including pieces by Grieg, Borodin, Schubert. Painting with music, some of the world’s favorite composers have illustrated marvelous landscapes with sound pictures for us to see, hear, imagine, and explore! The Treasure Coast Youth Symphony trips through the countryside with selected movements from Borodin’s "In the Steppes of Central Asia," Grieg’s "Peer Gynt," and Schubert’s 8th symphony. This concert includes a premiere performance of an original composition for full orchestra based on Led Zeppelin’s "Kashmir" by our own conductor, Thomas Servinsky.              Educating to preserve, create, and celebrate our musical heritage, the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony has served our community as one of its finest musical arts organizations for young musicians and orchestra audiences since 1987. The Treasure Coast Youth Symphony is an all volunteer, non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization composed of the most talented student musicians from Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and northern Palm Beach counties.             The mission of the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony is to provide challenging experiences in orchestral and individual performance for student musicians, to broaden their technical skills and artistic expression, to instill professionalism, and to enhance enjoyment of the musical talents individually and for their audiences.
