Volunteer with Columbus Gives Back and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for this night to remember! Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's biggest event of the year. Columbus Gives Back is recruiting awesome volunteers like you to help with this event. Light The Night is a walk that builds awareness of blood cancers as well as raises money for research and support for patients and their families.  We want to thank you for your time and for your support through your interest in volunteering! When: Friday, October 22, 4 PM - 8 PM Event Leaders: [email protected] Where: McFerson Commons (Arch Park), 218 West Street, Columbus, OH COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events. Additionally, if you were exposed before or test positive for Covid-19 after having participated in a CGB event, please contact the event leader or reach out to [email protected] so that we can best support contact tracing efforts. About the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society our mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.  About Columbus Gives Back: Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local!
