Location: Bronx, Westchester, Hudson Valley Locations Hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday - Friday Looking for a "Jack of all Trades" facilities/building support Duties: • Under minimal supervision, conducts basic preventive maintenance on HVAC units at multiple locations. • Coordinates with various departments for preventive maintenance and break down maintenance of facility equipment such as air handling units, RTU, etc. • Provides support to the Building Manager on various projects and covers duties during vacations/time off • Maintains documents related to preventive maintenance, break-down maintenance, and usage logbooks, daily monitoring of facility temperatures. • Ability to order supplies/materials: Keep stock of required filters, belts, lubricants, etc. • Interacts daily with various departments and outside contractors to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field. Provide support to Building Manager • Determines equipment preventative maintenance schedule by creating/reviewing preventative maintenance plan. • Responds to emergency calls and works on-call schedules as needed (either during or outside of regular working hours). Required to be on call for emergency situations. • Troubleshoots control wiring and control circuitry and repair as needed. • Basic building plumbing and sprinkler system knowledge a plus. **Occasional cleaning duties/support. Qualifications Must have HS diploma and 2 years previous facilities/property management based employment. ****Government Background check will be required**** Must have valid NYS Driver's License. • Willing to work in a fast paced environment • Has a passion and pride for a safe and clean environment • Can remain engaged/proficient working at an individual level • Is very detail oriented when it comes to completing their work
