Looking to start or join a band, if not that, then find more musicians. I don't really have a particular genre (meaning I'm going to include a lot of artists, so you get some sense of understanding of what I'm looking or not looking for), but influences/bands I listen to: Nirvana, Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop/The Stooges, Velvet Underground, New York Dolls, David Bowie, Patti Smith, Slowdive, Smoking Popes, The Kooks, Pixies, Broken Social Scene, Radiohead, Bright Eyes, Smashing Pumpkins, The Replacements, David Johnston, Bloody Valentine, Mom Jeans, Cage The Elephant, Bob Dylan, Crooked Still, Caamp, The Strokes, Rainbow Kitten Suprise, The War On Drugs, Modern Baseball, M83, Cigarettes After Sex, Rex Orange County, Brockhampton, Little Green Cars, Big Thief, Portugal The Man, Me Like Bees, Greta Van Fleet, Bon Iver, The Head and the Heart, etc. etc. etc. I'm 21 (live in West Harlem for now, so I'm going to have to travel anyways),looking for artists my age, but let's be real this is craigslist, so a desperate stretch.
