Originally a solo folk project established by front-woman, Victoria Backle, the project quickly grew into a four piece band with an ethereal sound. The band has a strong lyrical focus that's driven by energetic beats, heavy synth and haunting guitar tones. Since forming in March of 2020, Azure Wolf has been busy writing and performing through livestreams and in-person festivals, including Brazil's LIFA Global Music Festival, New York's East by Northeast International Film Festival, the Richmond International Film and Music Festival and the LAUNCH Music Conference and Festival. Having to sort through the difficulty of building a band in a post-COVID world, they've focused heavily on single releases and developing their live act. After a string of single releases in 2021, they are set to release their debut album, "Tensions", in October 2021 which will be in tandem with their debut tour. The band will be hitting multiple Eastern states to include: VA, DC, NY, PA, TN and NC. Azure Wolf takes altruism seriously and utilizes their platform to promote the causes they believe in. During the Australian bush fires of March 2020, the band put together a benefit concert that included themselves and three other DC bands to raise money for the efforts to fight the fires. They raised a total of $1,200 during the three-hour show. ________________________________________________________COVID UPDATESWe have taken enhanced health and safety measures to protect our venue guests. Bright Box is located at 15 N. Loudoun St. on the beautiful pedestrian mall in Old Town Winchester. The nearest parking is the Braddock Auto Park at 30 N Braddock St. This is about a block away from the venue. The parking garage does have several handicap parking spaces available. Once you've parked in the garage you'll exit toward the pedestrian mall. Once you hit N.
