This session will provide a complete technical overview of the B&W film printing process. ◉ This three hour workshop with CPR Teaching Artist Zach Fox is for anyone who is interested in getting started with hand-printing photos from B&W film or for those who would like a refresher course to refine their existing knowledge and technique. ◉ This session will provide a complete technical overview of the B&W film printing process including the use of enlargers, basic filters, and use of chemistry. ◉ Students should bring developed standard B&W film to the class— preferably 35mm film. ◉ Participants will have time to print a small selection of their images. ◉ Participants should also bring a pack of photographic paper to print on, preferably 8x10 sheets. ◉ The focus of this workshop is to provide an adequate amount of time for each student to receive one-on-one assistance if desired. ◉ Please call CPR with any additional questions.
