*** All applicants must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or have their first shot scheduled prior to interviewing. *** We are a busy dog daycare & boarding facility located in Milford, CT seeking qualified individuals with open availability on weekends to add to our growing team. This is a fast-paced environment intended for those able to learn quickly, work thoroughly, and demonstrate flexibility. We are currently hiring for 2-3 part time positions. Hours and pay depend upon experience and performance. Requirements: -OPEN AVAILABILITY IS A MUST (includes weekends, holidays, morning and evening shifts.) -High School Diploma or GED -All applicants must be ages 21+ -Computer literacy and ability to work independently with technology -Previous on-the-job dog experience (this does NOT include owning dogs or other animals) -Ability to lift 50+ lbs -Ability to work in all weather conditions including, but not limited to rain, snow, extreme cold & heat, heavy winds -All applicants must be able to provide their own transportation to and from work -Ability to provide coverage for other employees upon request -Ability to clean feces, urine, and other bodily substances commonly found in a kennel environment -Ability to be a team player and work well with others -Ability and willingness to learn off and on the clock via training videos, educational pamphlets, and mandatory classes -Ability to constantly improve upon the skills you have learned -Ability to monitor large groups of dogs -Ability to handle dogs scratching, biting, mouthing, soiling, and jumping on you.
