found turtle/tortoise

Hi, I found a turtle/tortoise around 2pm on 10/15/21 in the Healy Heights neighborhood of Portland, on SW Fairmount close to the cross-street of SW McDonald Terrace. The turtle/tortoise doesn’t appear to be native to the area so it seems like it might be someone’s pet that went on a walkabout. I’ll hang onto the turtle/tortoise but please let me know ASAP if your buddy got out & I’ll return it to you. Thanx & peace, ashley
