The duties of the Parts Specialist are listed below: Duties: The Parts Specialist will: Heavy focus on customer service and a customer first attitude is required Manage, control, track, restock, and physically count inventory in shop and service trucks Approve parts requests and order parts for technicians and service advisors Work directly with a team of technicians to ensure they have parts required to keep work flow moving Negotiate parts pricing with vendors Enter vendor invoices into computer Work with vendors to create and use proper purchase order requirements Create lists of needed parts and supplies to create estimates and complete jobs Assist coworkers and demonstrate willingness to work as a team 3-5 years of experience in the parts industry is required to be successful at this position.
