Machine Operator - We Will Train You!

A leading Spokane manufacturer of electronic hardware is looking for a machine operator who is mechanically inclined and good with their hands. Previous Davenport Screw Machine experience is a huge plus, but they are willing to train the right person. Excellent work ethic and good attendance habits are greatly desired. Must be able to read blueprints, micrometers, and calipers. PAY: $17.00/hour or more Depends on experience SHIFT: Monday-Friday 5:00am-2:30pm RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to: -Reach over head to activate machine controls -Bend over and install cams (15-20 lbs) and gears, as needed -Clean out the base of the machine -Load 5 bars of material into the rear of stock reel, load bars into collet -Effectively operate multiple machines -Make adjustments and change tools, as needed -Maintain machine oil levels -Go into inspection to use comparator when needed -Change all collets and feed fingers -Keep work area clean REQUIREMENTS may include, but are not limited to: -Ability to read blueprints and check parts to blueprint at work bench -Able to read micrometers and calipers -Able to be on feet for most of scheduled shift -No lifting, bending, stretching limitations and able to lift 40-50 lbs.
