Uno Mas in Downtown is newly opened, and we are hosting their grand opening happy hour to celebrate! Join us on October 19th from 4-7pm for delicious tex-mex bites, an extended happy hour, and good beats from a local DJ to transport you right to Mexico! GRAND OPENING HAPPY HOUR Uno Mas happy hour is typically Tuesday-Friday 11am-6pm, but for the grand opening the happy hour will be extended until 7 to give you extra time to try it all, and will feature half off appetizers! Happy Hour Specials are below: $1 off Beers $5 el Uno rocks $5 mixed wells $5 house red/ white wine $7 el Uno Frozen $7 Ocho rock/ frozen UNO MAS DOWNTOWN Uno Mas's original location is off Henderson, and they recently took over the former Queso Beso spot in Downtown for their second location! Inside you will find a lot of the same elements from Queso Beso, along with some fun new additions to the space. Featuring a colorful mural wall, neon “Feed me tacos and tell me I’m pretty” sign, and a second floor patio with views of downtown and the eye, it is the perfect tex-mex spot for a happy hour after work, or a delicious dinner with friends! THE FOOD & DRINKS If you are a tex-mex and marg lover, then Uno Mas is the perfect spot for you! Known for their amazing Ocho Margarita, which is their lite/skinny margarita with only 8g of sugar, and 168 calories you can get it on the rocks or frozen. They also offer their original margarita, El Uno Rocks, along with a variety of other drinks such as beer, wine, and cocktails! Their dishes are tex-mex based, but with a fun twist! We started with their queso with ground beef and quail legs for appetizers, and both were amazing. If you are unsure of quail legs like we were, they were a delicious surprise and we would definitely get them again! We then had the fields of greens salad with chicken, which was just as good as it looks, and ended with fajitas for the main course. RSVP & PARKING This event is free, but you must RSVP to attend! Uno Mas is located along the brick-lined alleyway connecting Main and Commerce and sits next to the Eye, and across from the Joule. There is meter parking available in the area, and garages close by as well. We also strongly encourage ride sharing through Uber, Lyft or Alto!
