Your Rotary International Foundation: a beacon for service, humanity, and peace in the world Xavier Toson is Past District Governor, 2020-21, of Rotary International District 5840, South Central Texas. He is also the founder and current CEO of two technology based companies: Navient Technology Group and Stash Media Group. He is the current Chair of the African American Chamber of Commerce in San Antonio. He also currently chairs the Rotary District 5840 Rotary Foundation committee and will be speaking today about the Foundation and its good works around the world. Come and meet the community service professional volunteers at Northwest Rotary Club, members of Rotary International, the largest service organization in the world. Rotary has a mission of World Peace through service, locally and worldwide, for people and communities. Learning more about our community, outreach, and being good neighbors is how a Rotary Club finds service projects to support people and communities. We do that at lunch meetings on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month, where we enjoy fellowship and learn. In existence since 1956, Northwest Rotary Club and its members have created a sizeable Charitable Fund to help support its charities. Lunch is served at Outback Steakhouse for $16 per person. Since 1956, Northwest Rotary Club has helped a number of charities, locally and globally, and has provided scholarships for promising students for college and professional/technical training over many years, that improved lives of people in need and communities.
