We welcome YOU to our Grand Opening ! Red, the founder of AUVM, would be so happy to see YOU visiting the museum, Please join us! A.U.V.M is proud to announce our GRAND OPENING! We are a Military Drone Museum, 501(C)3 Non-Profit organization. Co-Hosted by Richardson Radio Control Club. More about AUVM: The Aviation Unmanned Vehicle Museum (AUVM) was founded by retired Lt. Col. Harold (Red) Smith. Our mission is to educate the public about the beginning history and uses of unmanned aircraft. We have many rare drones on display. Drones from the early 1930's that were used for gunnery practice, to the 1970's when the first strike drone was born! Our founder, Red, worked in the Unmanned Aircraft sector of SAC (Strategic Air Command) during his 32 year military career in the US Air Force. Red was also one of the founding members of the AUVSI. We invite you to come out on November 20th 2021. from 9:00am - 3pm! RC FLYING, GUIDED TOURS, FOOD VENDOR! PHOTOS WITH NORMA JEANE BAKER LOOK ALIKE (MARILYN MONROE), AND CELEBRATE REGINALD DENNY DAY! SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER AS WELL. General admission: $10. Pilot Fee $10. Kids under 10 years old free.
