Enviro-Decon Services is actively seeking a part-time remediation technician for our residential and commercial mold & odor removal company, hiring in at $20/hr. for 15-25 hours per week. We are looking for a handy individual to perform the duties of remediation technician. This person will be responsible for: Assisting in providing mold & odor remediation services according to inspector specifications following instructions per lead of the foreman. Work primarily done in residential homes in attics & basements. Working with earth friendly chemicals to eliminate mold & odors in mainly basements and attics. Operating simple spray & fogging machinery and hand tools to perform remediation techniques, tear out, or vent installation. Abiding by safety standards using proper PPE equipment and protocols. Travel to and from the job driving work vehicle CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Excellent work ethic, committed, on-time and dependable. Provide excellent customer service by doing what it takes to meet customer’s needs. Provide a positive & friendly attitude, even in difficult situations. Have good attention to detail. Must be able to work within a team. Must be physically fit enough to be able to consistently walk, stand, climb, kneel, lift and carry 50lbs on a daily basis and operate various power hand tools. Provide own simple hand tools (i.e., hammer, pry bar, screwdriver, tape measure, etc.) Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, have a valid driver’s license with low points, and have transportation to and from work.
