Join a gathering of women as we meet in sacred space for authentic connection and personal expansion! We are being called to come together in community and tend to ourselves and one another in sacred space. Together we will work to shed the struggles of the past and step into and reclaim our strength, our clarity and our vision in service of a brighter self, family, community and world. THEME: November’s circle will be in the element of Water and the theme will be Emotional Alchemy. We will be examining the language, messages and purpose of our emotions. We will offer guided imagery exercises, opportunities for discussion and creative activities to integrate your experience. Through sitting circle, being witness to other women and being heard ourselves, we create new possibilities for transformation. LOCATION: Land of Medicine Buddha. Depending on weather, our circle and activities will either be held outside in the Meadow, just a short hike up from the main cluster of buildings or indoors at one of the gathering spaces. Further details will be made available closer to the event date. Please meet in front of the gift shop, just past the large prayer wheel near the parking lot. Cookies and chai tea will be served upon arrival and you will have an opportunity to browse the gift shop as we wait for all guests to arrive. PARKING: Upon arrival to Land of Medicine Buddha, after passing over the bridge, you will turn left, go through a gate, up the hill and turn right to enter the parking lot area. If there are no spaces in the immediate lot, continue down and around to the lower lot, there should be ample parking there. Please note that there may be a sign at the gate saying "Lot Full" - this is often not the case, proceed to the lots anyway. TIMING: We will begin at 2:00pm. You are welcome to arrive 30 minutes early to walk the grounds, explore the gift shop, enjoy chai/tea and cookies and chat with participants. At 2:00pm, we will leave together a go to our gathering space. WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable walking shoes for the short, 15 minute hike to the Meadow. Dress comfortably and in layers and as we will be doing art, wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy. Bring a sunhat just in case. Bring pen and journal for writing exercises. All other materials will be provided. COST: $77.00. Sliding scale options are available and no one will be turned away for financial reasons. If you find that you are unable to attend this event, we are happy to apply your event reservation fee to one of our upcoming circles through the end of 2021. YOUR FACILITATORS Christina Gustafson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, is a BCC Certified Psychosynthesis Life Coach, Certified Massage Practitioner with advanced training in Myofascial Release, a Level III Reiki Practitioner, breathwork facilitator and a blossoming glass artist captivated by the creative process. Christina has always been fascinated by personal development and growth and the impact the individual healing journey will ultimately have on the community and the world we belong to.
