Get an exclusive first-look at the story of wildlife and conservation through hundreds of larger-than-life animal lanterns at Oakland Zoo! Glowfari is back with hundreds of new, larger-than-life animal lanterns throughout the Zoo and we want you to be one of the first to experience this event before the general public. This year features new displays including the desert with camels and bighorn sheep, an African safari adventure with elephants, giraffes, and an 8-foot crocodile head, Asian forests to meet red and giant pandas, and a land of bugs featuring a 65-foot Queen Ant Tunnel! The Rides Area will be open for you to visit Santa and ride the Express Train through our Winter Wonderland. Your nighttime, illuminated adventure awaits! Reserve your timed tickets for entry: 5:30 pm6:00 pm6:30 pm7:00 pm7:30 pm8:00 pmFood locations will be open with snacks, entrées, and beverage options available for purchase. Other hours: Santa at Rides Area: 6:00 pm to 9:30 pmTrain: 6:00 pm to 9:00pm Gondola: Last ride up - 9:00 pm / Last ride down - 9:30 pm The fine print: Registration required. Please register by Thursday, November 4.For you + 3 friends and/or family. Children ages 2 years and older count as an attendee. Please show your Zoo ID when checking in - a business card or name badge. ACCR volunteers with no name badges, please take a picture of yourself in your volunteer shirt and show the photo when you check-in. You must be with your entire party when checking in.These tickets are valid for Thursday, November 11 only.Please note - this is the last dress rehearsal night for Glowfari. Please be patient if you witness staff working in an area or on a lantern. They are putting on the final touches for the Grand Opening on Friday, November 12.
