Our October meeting is in-person presenting investigations on the biology of bees in relation to their adaptation to temperate environments. Hello fellow BRBA members, Our October meeting will return to an in-person meeting. Carl Korschgen, BRBA member and Advisory Committee member will be our distinguished speaker.  He will present a discussion of his investigations on the biology of bees in relation to their adaptation to temperate environments.  Weather has a critical role on colony survival. Understanding the honeybee behavior and energetic instincts drive fall and spring population dynamics and may be some of the most important aspects of beekeeping. THE FALL AND SPRING TURNOVER IN HONEYBEES MANAGEMENT AND IMPLICATIONS FOR COLONY SURVIVAL Doors will open at 2:30 for a bit of social time prior to the start of our meeting.
