WILMINGTON, MA — At the end of last month, Patch asked readers for their help putting together a tour of the area's best Halloween yard displays. And you delivered, with impressive yards in the Merrimack Valley and Middlesex County. Now your neighbors will know where to find the spookiest haunted yards around. A few simple rules to keep in mind first: GET ON THE LIST: Patch's is a friendly list. We LOVE reader submissions, so we'll be updating the list until Halloween. And we're not picky about where you live — just because your town isn't on the list yet doesn't mean we don't want to see your display. So tell us why your yard haunt is special and send your pictures to [email protected]. (Read more about getting on the list.) BE RESPECTFUL: Don't yell, scream, honk your horn or litter. Please be respectful of people's neighbors. We think 10 p.m. is a reasonable time to stop looking at houses on weeknights, and 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Like this article? "We have a full projection show across the whole front of our house that will run until about 10:30pm every night of October, weather permitting." The Sardellas' haunt started small a few years ago and grown bigger each year, with the full projection beginning this year. "Our show is inspired by projection-mapping shows at Walt Disney World," Sardella said. "We do have an Instagram and encourage people to take photos/videos and tag us! @the.happy.haunts." 21 Carter Street Tewksbury, MA (Steve Sardella) 7 Mary Lou Lane, Andover MA: Bill Cleary's Halloween light show — with its own radio station — is up at 7 Mary Lou lane for every night through Halloween, weather permitting.
