Warehouse Assistant & Backup Driver

We're in search of an experienced individual who's able to help receive, organize, and help maintain our warehouse, facilities, materials and processes in our new production and warehouse location. Preferred Hours of Availability: Monday-Friday, between 8am - 4pm, full time, possible weekend days during the holiday season. Essential Abilities, Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist in receiving, unloading and stocking materials for product manufacturing on a daily basis. - Prep materials for production. - Maintain organization and flow of materials through production line. - Operate forklift, pallet jack and other equipment as needed and requested - Act as a backup Driver for pickups, deliveries, dump runs and special projects Work Ethic, Skills: - Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs. - Able to follow directions and ask questions - Must have a good attitude and be a self starter - Must maintain good working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and customers - Read, write, and speak English - Must possess valid Drivers License - Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work Education and Experience: - 2 progressive years experience and responsibility in a warehousing field is a plus - 1 year of pallet jack experience required - 1 year of forklift experience required, certification preferred We are a new facility but an established and well known Bay Area business, with 7 stores all over the Bay and 45 years of experience.
