Description
GULFPORT, FL — Gulfport's Third Saturday IndieFaire Night Market celebrates its one-year anniversary as an eclectic and lively highlight in downtown Gulfport Saturday, Oct. 16 from 5 to 9 p.m.
In its inaugural year, the Third Saturday IndieFaire has grown into a regionally recognized showcase of creativity and live entertainment each month alongside the shops and eateries of Beach Boulevard, many of which stay open late to accommodate the night's festivities and visitors.
It features more than 30 artists, crafts-makers, creative groups and other vendors.
In conjunction with Visit Gulfport, ArtJones, the Gulfport fine arts collective founded by Brenda McMahon, announced the roster of fine artists for the two-day open studio tour Dec. 4-5.
It's the largest ArtJones studio tour to date with 30 artists, including four emerging artists and the group's inaugural ArtJones Scholarship Award winner, fused-glass artist Michelle Ingram. The scholarship is designed to welcome underrepresented voices in the arts community. Both the inclusion of emerging artists and the scholarship are new this year.
ArtJones is an annual free self-guided tour, show and sale of fine original artwork at 12 art studios throughout Gulfport.
ArtJones runs Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
