Service technicians work most of their days with little management or immediate oversight so self-management skills are a must as well the ability to manage their time efficiently. • Communication skills. Service technicians talk with customers daily and need to be able understand and communicate problems in a clear manner. • Dexterity. Service technicians must be able to maneuver parts and tools precisely, often in tight spaces. • Mechanical skills. Service technicians use a variety of tools to assemble and repair plumbing systems. Choosing the right tool and successfully installing, repairing, or maintaining a system is crucial to their work. • Physical strength. Be physically fit to handle the necessary tools and materials to complete their jobs. • Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Service technicians must be able to investigate, find, diagnose, and repair problems. Applicant Requirements: • At least 18 years of age • High School Diploma or Equivalent • Pass basic background check • Clean professional appearance • Pass a pre-employment drug screen • Valid Missouri driver's license Must be able to pass a basic math and reading comprehension test at the time of application.
