Press release from City of Braintree: October 14, 2021 Please be advised the section of Liberty Street between Grove Street and Peach Street is scheduled to be paved this Saturday, October 16th. This work is scheduled to start at 7:00 am on Saturday and will be completed by 3:00 pm the same day.  While the paving work is being completed, Liberty Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. During this time detours will be in place and police details will be stationed throughout the project to assist residents and local traffic. If you are planning to travel Saturday morning or early afternoon, please seek alternate routes.
